- Factory reset the child Android tablet before trying QR setup again.

Fix QR Setup
Use this page if the child Android tablet does not finish Nesty Child Tablet QR setup. Android 14 or newer and internet access on the tablet are required.
If Nesty Parent is missing, install Nesty Parent first, then return to QR setup.
Open The QR Scanner
- On some tablets, tap the first welcome screen 10 to 15 times quickly.
- Do that before Google sign-in starts.
- If the scanner does not appear, return to the first welcome screen and try again.
Managed Device Screens
- Android may say the child Android tablet is managed and not private.
- That wording comes from Android's managed setup flow.
- Continue through that step so Nesty can finish the handoff.
If The Child Tablet Is Already Managed
- If another owner is already on the tablet, Android normally blocks full lock-down until the tablet is factory reset.
- If QR setup finishes but Nesty Child Tablet does not take over, finish setup in Nesty Parent and retry the child Android tablet later.
Still Stuck
- Capture the exact last screen text.
- Send the child Android tablet make and model to Nesty support.
- Use Nesty Parent to finish family setup, then retry the child Android tablet later.
